ULTRAFLEX®

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES OF ACTIVE COMPONENTS:

ULTRAFLEX® is recommended for correction of the diet as an additional source of triterpene boswellia acids, which are contained in the extract of Boswellia resin, and glucosamine hydrochloride, the main building material of articular cartilage and intra-articular synovial fluid.

The action of all active components of ULTRAFLEX® has been clinically confirmed.

Glucosamine hydrochloride is a compound of natural glucosamine monoaminosaccharide. Glucosamine is synthesized in the human body from glucose and serves as a precursor for glycosaminoglycans (including hyaluronic acids and chondroitin). Glycosaminoglycans, in turn, are an integral part of proteoglycans - the connective tissue proteins, tendons, articular cartilage and synovial fluid.

With age, the process of synthesis of endogenous glucosamine in the human body slows down. In combination with the influence of unfavorable factors (increased load on the joints of athletes and people with excessive body weight, age-related metabolic disorders, sedentary lifestyle, traumatism, etc.), this can lead to disruption of the joint structure and the development of inflammatory and degenerative processes in them, accompanied by painful sensations and leading to a restriction of the functional mobility of the joints.

When entering the human body, exogenous glucosamine initiates the expression of the corresponding genes and "combines" into glycosaminoglycans, stimulating the synthesis of proteoglycans. This contributes to the reconstruction of damaged cartilaginous tissue and normalizes the production of synovial fluid, which serves as a shock-absorber and lubrication of articular surfaces. Long-term clinical studies have confirmed the development of anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects after taking glucosamine associated with its ability to suppress the activity of lysosomal enzymes and inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandin E and leukotriene B.

Extract of Boswellia resin is obtained from Boswellia, also called incense tree. Extracts of Boswellia resin are standardized for the content of pentacyclic triterpene Boswellia acids (BA). BA inhibits the enzyme 5-lipoxygenase, suppressing the synthesis of leukotrienes and, accordingly, interferes the development of the inflammatory process. Recent studies have demonstrated the ability of the BA to suppress the synthesis of prostaglandins by inhibiting microsomal E-prostaglandin synthase-1, which also allows the use of Boswellia resin extract to prevent inflammation.

INDICATIONS:

Glucosamine hydrochloride and boswellia resin extract, which are part of ULTRAFLEX®, are used for active prophylaxis and in complex treatment of:

- pathological conditions caused by increased stress on the joints (in athletes, people with excessive body weight);

- degenerative-dystrophic diseases of the spine (osteoarthritis, osteochondrosis, etc.);

- to accelerate the formation of bone callus in the period of convalescence (after fractures, operations on the locomotor apparatus).

HOW TO TAKE:

adults and children over 12 years 1-2 capsules 1-3 times a day with meals,  wash down with water. The course of intake is for 1-2 months; repeated course is not earlier, than in two months, or according to recommendations of the attending physician.

Before use, consult a physician.

PRECAUTIONS:

Individual sensitivity to components, children under 12 years, pregnancy, women during lactation.

SIDE EFFECTS:

Allergic reactions to individual components of ULTRAFLEX®.

In some cases, in the first days of use, there may be dyspeptic phenomena, fluctuations in blood pressure, a feeling of heat. With a decrease in dose, these phenomena tend to pass quickly.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:

The contents of the capsule are better absorbed when taken with fatty foods. There is no sufficient information on the influence of ULTRAFLEX® on the ability to drive vehicles and mechanisms. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

OVERDOSE:

Dyspeptic phenomena (nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea) are possible with the use of ULTRAFLEX® in unreasonably high doses. Symptomatic treatment, gastric lavage, reception of enterosorbents are recommended.

INTERACTIONS:

A combined use of glucosamine, the hydrochloride, which is a part of ULTRAFLEX®, enhances the absorption of the tetracyclines from the gastrointestinal tract and reduces the bioavailability of penicillins and chloramphenicol.

STORAGE CONDITIONS AND EXPERY DATE:

Store in the manufacturer's packaging in a dry, protected from light environment at a temperature of 18 ° C to 25 ° C and relative humidity not more than 75%, 24 months from the date of manufacture.

Keep out of the reach of children.

ULTRAFLEX® is a Dietary supplement from vegetable raw materials to the diet. It is not a medicinal product. Dietary supplements should not be used as a substitute for a full-fledged diet. Do not exceed the recommended amount for daily intake.
