NEMIAL®

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES OF ACTIVE COMPONENTS:

The effect of NEMIAL® is determined by the properties of the extract of boswellia and vitamins of group B in its composition (thiamine, riboflavin, nicotinamide, pantothenic acid, pyridoxine, biotin).

The effect of all active components of NEMIAL ® is clinically confirmed.

B vitamins have a direct and indirect effect on the functional state of the central and peripheral nervous system. The intake of vitamins of group B replenishes their deficiency, arising from insufficient intake from food or an increase in the body's need for vitamins associated with various diseases. Some vitamins of group B (for example, biotin, thiamine and pantothenic acid) are synergists, that is, their simultaneous application increases the effectiveness of each of them.

Vitamin B1 (thiamin) has a positive effect on the nerve impulse, plays an important role in the carbohydrate, protein and fat metabolism, protects the cell membranes from the toxic effects of lipid peroxidation products (LPO). Vitamin B1 is used to treat neuritis, intestinal atony, liver diseases, myocardial dystrophy, dermatoses of neurogenic origin, as well as skin itch, pyoderma, eczema, psoriasis, acne.

Vitamin B2 (riboflavin),  in the form of its derivative that is coenzyme flavinadenine dinucleotide,  together with monoamine oxidase (MAO)participates in the oxidation reactions of amino groups of biogenic monoamines (serotonin, tryptamine, norepinephrine, dopamine), thus exerting an indirect influence on the functions of central and peripheral nervous system.

Vitamin B3 (nicotinamide)  has a strong vasodilating effect on the peripheral vessels, improving the supply of oxygen, and nutrients to organs, tissues and nerve endings. It effects the synthesis of sex hormones, cortisone, thyroxine, insulin.

Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) stimulates the production of adrenal hormones (glucocorticoids) and takes part in the synthesis of neurotransmitters, thus regulating the activity of the central and peripheral nervous system.

Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) after entering the body turns into pyridoxal-5-phosphate and becomes a part of the enzymes that affect the metabolism of amino acids. It participates in the processes of assimilation of glucose by nerve cells, it is necessary for the normal functioning of the central and peripheral nervous system. It favors the normalization of lipid metabolism. It is necessary for long-term infections (including cutaneous infections), stressful conditions. Being a part of complex therapy, it is used for neuroses, liver damage, dermatitis (including atopic and seborrheic), herpetic infection, psoriasis, exudative diathesis, acne.

Vitamin H (biotin), being a coenzyme, is involved in the synthesis of higher fatty acids, thus affecting lipid and carbohydrate metabolism. Vitamin H is also involved in the synthesis of glucokinase, an enzyme that regulates glucose metabolism, stabilizing glucose in the blood, and thus contributes to improve brain nutrition and to function of the nervous system. The need for vitamin H increases with the abuse of alcohol, the prolonged use of anticonvulsant and sulfur-containing drugs, as well as antibiotics that suppress the intestinal microflora that produces endogenous vitamin H. The extract of Boswellia resin is reached from Boswellia serrate, also called incense tree. Extracts of Boswellia resin are standardized for the content of pentacyclic triterpene Boswellic acids (BA). BA inhibits the 5-lipoxygenase enzyme, suppressing the synthesis of leukotrienes and, accordingly, interferes with the development of the inflammatory process. This allows the use of boswellia resin extract for prevention and in the complex treatment of inflammatory processes. BA suppresses the synthesis of leukotriene B4, which reduces the threshold of nociception (physiological pain) in the human body, thus providing a moderate analgesic (analgesic) effect.

INDICATIONS:

Extract of Boswellia resin and vitamins of group B, which are part of NEMIAL®, are used for active prophylaxis and in complex treatment of:

- pathological conditions caused by deficiency of B vitamins;

- inflammatory processes that disrupt the activity of the peripheral nervous system (paresthesia, neuritis, polyneuritis, diabetic polyneuropathy, neuralgia (including intercostal neuralgia, trigeminal neuralgia, sciatica), myalgia, arthralgia, radiculitis, lumbago, etc.);

- dermatological diseases, in the pathogenesis, where metabolic disorders, dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system or viral damage of nerve fibers (psoriasis, seborrhea (including seborrheic eczema), pink and vulgar acne, atopic dermatitis, allergodermatosis, shingles, etc.) are of principle role;

- chronic inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract with allergic component (allergic rhinitis, bronchial asthma, etc.);

- chronic inflammatory bowel diseases (colitis, ulcerative colitis (NJC), Crohn's disease, etc.)

HOW TO TAKE:

adults and children over 12 years of age on 1 capsule 2-3 times a day during meals, drink water.

The contents of the capsule are better absorbed when taken with fatty foods. The course of therapy is 1-2 months; repeated course is not earlier, than in a month, or according to the recommendations of the attending physician.
